If you’ve ever said you want financial freedom but don’t really know what that looks like in your life, I get it.

I really thought I was doing everything right.

I went to college, got the job, built the career, got married, had kids, even went back for my Master’s.

And it all looked good.

But it didn’t feel the way I thought it would.

I was gone most of the day, in the car all the time, missing things at home that I didn’t want to miss.

And even when I was home, I was still working. On my computer, answering emails, trying to keep up.

At the same time we’re trying to build a life on the farm, thinking about land, cattle, input costs, all of it.

I just remember thinking, how is this supposed to work long term.

Because I didn’t want to wait years to finally have time. I wanted to be here now. With my kids. On the farm. Actually living this life instead of trying to squeeze it in.

So I decided to try something different.

I started building something online. Not because I had it all figured out, but because I knew what I was doing wasn’t going to get me where I wanted to go.

And over time, it started to work.

Now I’m home. I’m present. I get to be part of the day to day here, and I’m still able to contribute financially.

I’m not rushing out the door every morning or feeling like I’m missing everything anymore.
